My Alphabet.

A- Apple.  The fruit, the computer.

B- Books.  All of them.  Especially Canadian fiction, historical fiction, cookbooks and gardening books.

C- Colour.  Yes, spelled correctly, and yes, all of them.  Favs today: plum, rust, teal (not together).

D- David.  Both my Dad and my brother.  Love them both.  Biblical David was pretty cool, too.

E- Etsy. Also, lots of love.  Wow.

F- Flavour.  Sweet, salty, sour, spicy. Are all flavour descriptors “s” words?

G- Graphic Design.  My goal this year is to get unusually good at it.  I plan on amazing myself.

H- Holidays.  Who doesn’t love a good holiday?  Vacations and holi-days.  Favourite = Christmas.

I- Indian Food.  Ok, I can’t eat the really hot stuff, but I love eating it with my hands and a stack of naan.

J- Jazz.  I would blame this love on my Dad.  And having grown up with the CBC.  Both to blame.

K- Kisses.  From my special someone, and my little special someone.

L- Laughing.  The good “ouch-my-abs-really-hurt-now” kind of hysteria.  Precious.

M- Matthew.  Devoted and tolerant husband.  Pretty handy, too, I might add.

N- Narnia.  Born and raised with the stories and pretty much have them memorized. Is that bad?

O- Octopus.  Basically the thing I fear most in the whole entire world.  Like, seriously petrified.  But I will eat them.

P- Piper.  Little lovely lady who calls me “Ma-ma!”.  Melt.

Q- Questions.  I like spending time on the important ones in life, and quickly shutting down the ones that don’t matter.

R- Reading.  * see letter B.

S- Simon.  As in Paul Simon.  Nuf said.

T- Tape.  Ask anyone in my family about my odd and borderline OCD tendencies with tape.  Only Scotch tape.  The green plaid kind.

U- Understanding.  Trying everyday to understand my Creator just a little more, in turn, understanding myself a little more.

V- Value Village.  Can’t go wrong with a $5 pair of Silver jeans that make your butt look like a million bucks. Come on!

W- Writing.  On paper, with a pen, fine tip.  Looking back at old journals puts life so delicately in perspective.

X- Xerox.  Does anyone else just love the smell of freshly Xeroxed items?  Up there with fresh baked bread and cookies.

Y- Yogourt.  Fruit on the bottom.  Full fat, please.

Z- Zed.  Not “zee”, zed.  Je suis une Canadienne, after all.  Represent.
